Here’s to 2017!

Here’s to #2017 and all the exciting possibilities it will bring!

I wanted to share just a few of my favourite projects from the last year – I love how diverse my job can be and how it continues to challenge and inspire me everyday.

I can’t wait to see what will happen next!

The Octopus Bar

In August I had the pleasure of creating a bespoke venue design for the fabulous Ventnor Fringe Festival

Originally created by a team of local students in 2010 the festival follows the core principles of the famous Edinburgh Fringe that inspired it, in which any artist can take part. Since then, the Ventnor Fringe has gradually grown into one of the Island’s most exciting new festivals, attracting more than 300 performers in 2014 from all over the world

I was commissioned to hand paint a giant octopus onto their ‘Observatory Bar’ which sits above the seafront overlooking Ventnor Beach..

Isle of Arts.

I’ve had the pleasure of being involved in the Arts Trail for the fabulous Isle of Arts , coming to our very own Ventnor this weekend!

The Arts Trail provides festival goers with the opportunity to discover a spectacular collection of paintings, sculptures and other Art installations. Mostly created by Island artists, they are displayed in a number of venues around the town and seafront and well worth a stroll through the town during your visit to the festival! Many are for sale, and some of the artists are happy to take commissions too!

Here’s the my hand-drawn map created to guide you through the town to each venue!
